- Starting with educational qualifications, individuals must complete Year 10 and have a valid Driver's License:
- They must then apply for an nbn Traineeship Program.
- Once enrolled in the program, individuals must complete a Certificate 3 in Telecommunications.
- After completing a Certificate 3, individuals can secure a Graduate/Entry role as a Qualified Customer Field Technician.
- From there, the path leads to career progression, split into two paths:
- Technical Compliance Specialist, progressing to Technical Compliance Manager.
- Field Engineer, progressing to Field Area Manager
Network Engineer Education and Career Progression Pathways
The flowchart outlines various educational pathways leading to career progression for an nbn Network Engineer.
- Starting with educational qualifications, individuals must complete a relevant Bachelor's Degree at University, such as Telecommunication, Engineering, Networking, Automation or Network Security.
- They must then apply for an nbn Graduate Program.
- Once enrolled in the program, individuals must complete the Graduate Program which takes 18 months to complete.
- After completing the program, individuals can secure a role as a Network Engineer.
- From there, the path leads to career progression, into a Senior Network Engineer role.
